Introdução

A Ordem dos Advogados de Moçambique (OAM) participou no seminário bienal do Fórum Regional Africano, da IBA (International Bar Association), que decorreu em Kigali, capital do Ruanda, entre os dias 13 a 15 de Setembro.

O evento tinha o seguinte tema: preparar a profissão de advogado em África para o futuro: responder às oportunidades da integração regional, da ruptura tecnológica e promover a sustentabilidade (future proofing the African legal profession: meeting the opportunities of regional integration, technological sisruption and fosterind sustainability).

No seminário foram debatidas matérias relativas a integração regional (com destaque para a implementação da Zona de Comércio Livre Continental Africana – ZCLCA); tecnologia aplicada às profissões jurídicas; ESG; regulação de novos mercados e negócios; arbitragem internacional; protecção de dados e privacidade; legislação criminal internacional; desafios na formação de juristas; cláusula da força maior nos contratos comerciais.
