Two fully sponsored opportunities that have arisen under SADC-LA membership capacity building and services development as outlined below;

1. The upcoming ALSF Academy in-person training on October 15, Kigali, Rwanda,
The selection criteria is as below (Please find attached a brief introduction to the ALSF Academy Program);
a. 3 – 5 years PQE;
b. Willingness to join the SADC Pro Bono Lawyers Network (SADC-PLaN) and be deployed to carry out transactions/research under it;
c. Consider gender mainstreaming;
d. Fully paid up individual member of SADC-LA or willing to subscribe to SADC-LA individual membership.

2. SADCLA ACGM Human Rights Training for Pro bono network ,
The selection criteria is as below;
a. Practicing human rights lawyer with proven track record;
b. Ability and undertaking to submit and if called upon to, present a brief on the implementation of international, regional and domestic human rights instruments in his/her respective;
c. Compulsory attendance and signature of register at SADC-LA desk of all sessions at the ACGM;
d. Willingness and availability to join the SADC Pro Bono Lawyers Network (SADC-PLaN);
e. Gender Mainstreaming;
f. Fully paid up individual member of SADC-LA or willing to subscribe to SADC-LA individual membership
